Thanks to everyone who came on Wednesday and made the Sangha such a wonderful experience.
Anjani, my beautiful flatmate, friend and fellow Ayurvedic graduate, led us in an amazing meditation, by the end we had our hearts joined and we sent the energy of our hearts out into the streets so that the benefits could be felt by all. It was such a lovely experience that really brought us together as a group, such a great way to capture the spirit of community that our Sangha is all about. I felt a real feeling of unity with everyone that lasted throughout the night. Thank you Anjani.
Dr. Shaun Matthews, my teacher and Ayurvedic practitioner, spoke about Ayurveda. He explained how Ayurveda is a way of thinking beyond diet and the physical body and how we must follow our instincts and do what is right for us, body, mind and spirit.
Then Donna Giannotis spoke about AcuEnergets and the journey that led her to become a practitioner. We then did a small practice focusing on tuning into ourselves, focusing on different parts of the body, getting more in tune with the feelings and sensations of our bodies.
So it was all about tuning into who we are, where we are and what we need. It always comes back to the same thing - Listen to your body. Trust what you hear or feel and do what feels right and you can't go wrong.
Our next Sangha will be on Wednesday the 4th of May and again we have some very special people lined up to speak, so mark it in your diary and I will hopefully see you there.
